The kids are all right

26th July 2007

Just finished the last Harry Potter book last and it was delightful. Many of my suspicions about Snape were well-founded, but Albus's back story was even more interesting.

The number of deaths of familiar characters in this book is a little staggering.

The one complaint I have is that there just wasn't enough space for the minor characters to shine. In this book more than the others, it was a non-stop harry-palooza.

One more complaint that's a tiny spoiler: that Harry breaks a Taboo after knowing fully of its existence was just silly.

Till, the Potter series is very likely to enjoyed by Children and adults for many years to come.

Well done, Ms. Rowling!
