Taskboy.com is the web site of Joe Johnston, an independent software contractor in the greater Boston area. Here you will find technical articles, online software tools, programs, pictures and music.

I co-authored O'Reilly's Programming Web Application with XML-RPC and contributed to Unix Power Tools, 3rd ed. The Best of the TPJ: Computer Science and Perl Programming and The Best of the TPJ: Web, Graphics and Perl/Tk. I've written several articles for perl.com, IBM's developerWorks and Web Services Architect. In addition, I've been a technical reviewer for a dozen O'Reilly books covering Linux, Perl and PHP.

Weather permitting, I enjoy walking or biking around the great town of Chelmsford, Massuchusetts.
